Description
Authentic Refurbished Victor Victrola Talking Machine Cabinet "Invisible" Knife or Pivot Hinge Free shipping on orders of $30 or more. READ: These prices are for a single hinge, without screws . Original Screws are offered separately. Photos show pairs for Left/Right reference purposes only. If you DO NOT SEE, or are NOT ABLE TO SELECT the hinge you want in the drop list, it means it is sold out at this time. I do not know when or if inventory will be replenished in any particular hinge. eBay displays the lowest price by default (happens to be for the screws), when you make your selection, the price for that particular item will display. THE HINGES ARE NOT .99! HINGE OPTIONS ARE: Long arm with limit straps, Left or Right, EACH Short arm with limit straps, Left or Right, EACH Long arm reversible (no strap), EACH Short arm reversible (no strap) , EACH Screws Only (PAIR). Note that hinges require 4 screws. if you need 4 screws, order 2 pairs. IF YOU DO NOT SEE AN OPTION IN THE SELECTION MENU, IT MEANS THAT PARTICULAR CONFIGURATION IS NOT AVAILABLE. EACH PHOTO MATCHES A PARTICULAR CONFIGURATION. DO NOT SELECT A REVERSIBLE HINGE AND EXPECT TO RECEIVE A LIMIT STRAP HINGE. WHEN YOU MAKE A SELECTION, ONE PHOTO OF THE ITEM WILL APPEAR, THAT HINGE AND ONLY THAT HINGE IS THE CONFIGURATION YOU ARE SELECTING! A RED arrow on the photographs will indicate Left or Right Hinge. These hinges are seller refurbished. They have been stripped down to bare metal and repainted a satin black to match the original finish. In my opinion, these are the best-looking Victrola hinges available. Perfect for your restoration project. It is normal for the hinge to show some unpainted metal as the hinge is opened and closed, due to the limit strap location and wear at the guide post. These hinges are available in several different configurations as follows: Free Swing (Top) Type: These were originally used at the top of the cabinet door and are reversible for left or right applications. These "Top" may also be used at the bottom of the door, but they will not prevent the door from hitting the corner post if opened too far. Available in both Long-Arm and Short-Arm versions - See photos for details. The arm types (Long or Short) must match the bottom hinge configuration. Long and short arm hinges can not be mixed. Limited Swing (Bottom) Type: These were originally used at the bottom of the door and are not reversible. Available in both Long-Arm and Short-Arm versions - See photos for details. The arm types are not interchangeable and must match the top hinge configuration. It may be necessary to remove a hinge from your machine in order to determine what arm type you have, as they look very similar once installed . If you're not sure what you've got, take a photo and send it to me for verification. As can bee seen in the photos, the Long-Arm hinges restrict the swing to roughly 115 Degrees, these are used where there may be a protruding molding or corner post. The Short-Arm hinges allow a wider, 140 Degree swing for cabinets with a flatter front face. Screws: Original, refurbished hinge screws are offered separate from the hinges, in pairs (2 screws). Add the quantity you need, if any, to your order. Each hinge takes 2 pairs of screws. Dimensions: Long-Arm Hinges: 1-11/16" long OA x 3/8" wide. Leaves are 3/32" thick. Short-Arm Hinges: 1-5/8" long OA x 3/8" wide. Leaves are 3/32 thick. I also may have the identical, but larger, 2-3/16" OA hinges listed separately (subject to availability). Hinges are individually wrapped, separate from the screws, to prevent damage to the finish during shipping. This item ships in a box, not an envelope. Please contact me prior to purchase if you have any questions, I'm happy to assist you in ordering the correct hinge. See photos for general condition of finish.
